The business was formally established in January 2023, but life required patience. With the birth of their child, the co-founders, James and Charity Renteria, intentionally decided to delay operations and focus on family first. By April 2025, Junk MD officially began serving customers with the clarity, structure, and care we had planned from the start.
The co-founders share a strong faith, a commitment to service, and experience rooted in medicine, sales, and entrepreneurship. Those careers shaped how they approach this business, allowing them to combine those disciplines into a service that treats junk removal as a managed process rather than a rushed transaction.
Our philosophy is simple: we believe in doing ordinary work extraordinarily well. Clean trucks, uniformed teams, clear communication, thoughtful execution, and a human touch throughout the experience… This is what we mean when we say we “elevate the ordinary.”
